Project Detail
The city at present has a secondary Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) of 100 Mld at Bhandewadi, which is in the central part of the city and is able to treat a little under one third of their sewage, which is then discharged into the Pili River. The sewage from the rest of the central zone and the northern and southern zones flows untreated into the Nallas River, and farmers down the stream use this water for irrigation.
